Tried out the PCI seat brackets and sliders for the first time. Have to say these are super well thought out! From bolts being easy to install to side to side adjustability on the brackets, super low profile and not to mention insanely lightweight. Just an amazing set for the driver who needs the perfect set up. I’m definitely a believer after trying out various different set ups 🙌🙌

Catching up on the progress for the final countdown before Road Atlanta. Just a rundown of the Kingpin items. Chris was a pleasure to work with and had awesome communication throughout the build. Front and rear outlaw spherical LCAs, outlaw compliance bushings and front upper control arm bushings. I haven’t had the chance to try anything from Kingpin with the 🍊teg and am excited to see how these feel 🙌. Have to say the look of these parts are just insane. I’ve seen other people purchase but never thought I’d get have a set of my own 🙏

More updates! Some ECU mounting with a cool Checkered Sports piece, arp studs, borrowed the rear ASR bar but no subframe needed since TYPE R! New battery and some nifty wiring. Coming along and the countdown begins. Hoping to make it to Road Atlanta in less than 2 weeks! Up next is installing the AIM goodies seats - still much more to go!

Suspension is coming along nicely at Final Drive! Went with Ground Control Special Purpose full coilovers with race valved Koni’s and spring rates of 1000lbs front and 600lbs rear to start. Shipping time on these were lightning fast and Donovan at GC is a pleasure to work with. Couldn’t be happier with the service and quality! Can’t wait to try these out at my Houston home track MSRH and Road Atlanta!
The ITR comes with different rear LCAs and a i Type shock so we converted to GSR style LCAs and fork style coils. After extensive reading I read there is not much difference to one vs the other when parts are upgraded.

CNC Auto Body Bobby killed it with the champ white interior! Back in 2011 Bob brought the orange teg back to life after sitting for over 7 years and has brought this interior to life now too! Also under time pressure - he was a man of his word and completed it as promised. So grateful to have such awesome talent on this build. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Couldn’t be happier with the work performed by Jay at JPC! Welds were baller and spot on, and just solid work all around. Great communication from the very start and the work was completed to the very day he promised. That is super rare in the industry as work can get derailed by other projects and emergencies. Time and quality is hard to come by together so cheers to Jay! The goal was to have the safety and look of an IMSA car with X bars for the doors and the “taco shell” and having it just blend into the A and B pillars. More rigid will help this car handle awesome. I wish I could just clear coat this and send it!
Next stop is to Bobby of CNC Auto Body for some badass interior paint to prevent rust and keep everything clean. Not going for a show car but having a well sorted interior makes it more fun to drive!
